Our most popular social night is happening again for a 3rd year. You're invited to join our 3rd Annual MEGASMASH MEGA SOCIAL. All to celebrate Mardi Gras! Everyone is welcome, so bring out your rainbow socks and Pride inspired outfits. Organised games, lucky door prizes and badminton challenges.

Whether you're here for a social swing and miss, or looking to reignite your badminton play days, we'd love you to come along.

Everyone is welcome to join. From beginners who are starting out to tournament players, we've created spaces and opportunities for all player levels.

You can expect a variety of players, backgrounds and levels to join us and organised games will be used to manage this particular social. Meaning you'll play people of your level.

If you're looking for a way to work up a sweat, get fit and feel more active and energetic, then this is the sport to try.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Whether you're a beginner or a former social or comp player, we're all about increasing female participation in badminton, and having fun along the way. We love playing badminton and introducing women from all sporting backgrounds to give it a go. Many women who play tennis, squash or even soccer find it a great cross over sport.

Whether you're LGBTIQ+ or a straight woman, or just an ally, everyone is welcome in our club.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE

Upon arrival, please ensure you check in with a Shuttle Swingers host. Let us know what your experience or level is like. We'll look to rotate you around to play with a mix of people and standards while keeping it comfortable and within your fitness level.

I DON'T KNOW THE RULES

Not to worry, that's what we're here for. You'll learn along the way.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING

Appropriate and comfortable sporting attire. Badminton or indoor shoes preferred but not essential. General sports trainers are acceptable. Don't forget water. You might need that.

COVID SAFETY

The Badmintonworx Venue is a COVID safe business and venue. Please ensure you check in at the front desk via their QR code and practice COVID safe distancing. Please note there are also no change rooms or showers in use.
